The RAL Pet Pantry

The Richmond Animal League's Pet Pantry Program temporarily provides pet food (for dogs and cats) to families experiencing unexpected hardship.

If you are in need of pet food assistance:

• The Pet Pantry is open 7 days a week 10:00am-6:00pm

• You are welcome to take whatever is available, but we kindly ask that you refrain from taking more than what you/your pets need

• We will replenish the items as we can (if we have extra food/treats/leashes/misc. items, we will put them out) but cannot guarantee certain items or brands will be in the pet pantry on a regular basis.

• The Pet Pantry is directly outside the Judith Talley Secor Adoption Center, located at 11401 International Drive Richmond, VA 23236 (2nd building on the right when you turn onto International Drive).

• Please do not take items out of the bin labeled "donations."

If you would like to support RAL’s Pet Pantry:

• Donations for the Pet Pantry can be placed in the labeled Donation Bin outside of our shelter (11401 International Drive Richmond, VA 23236)

• If you'd like to mail items from online sites like Chewy or Amazon, please use the shelter address (11401 International Drive Richmond, VA 23236) for the mailing address

• Below are items needed in the pantry:

  • Dry cat food – any brands

  • Wet cat food – any brand

  • Wet dog food – any brand

  • Kitten food – any brand wet and dr

  • Puppy food – any brand wet and dry

• All donations must be UNOPENED. We are unable to accept opened or unmarked food.
