Rebecca Morales - Reception & Administrative Coordinator

Rebecca serves as the Reception and Administrative Coordinator at RAL, where she combines over four years of shelter animal care experience with more than a decade of expertise in customer service. She holds two master's degrees—one in Sociology and Gender Studies from Old Dominion University, and another in Animals and Public Policy from Tufts University.
A self-proclaimed beagle enthusiast, Rebecca enjoys nothing more than curling up with a good book and her own beloved beagle, Skully (better known to the world as "Bean"). Her passion for social science research is focused on human-animal relationships, and how such research can be used to make the world kinder for people and animals. When she's not at work or immersed in academic pursuits, Rebecca loves spending time at the beach, petting rescue beagles, and being outdoors.
